Update on Closure Order
In December last year (17 December 2025), officers successfully secured a Closure Order on a property in Bourne Street.
On 16 March 2026, at Brighton Magistrates’ Court, the Courts granted an extension of a further three months.
The flat, located in Berwick Court, had been linked to numerous incidents of anti-social behaviour, disorder, and drug‑related activity, following the original order, the property was closed for three months, and will now remain closed for a further three months under the new order.
Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant Adam said;
“Residents had been subjected to anti-social and violent incidents for several months".
"We hope this extension will continue to give the community much‑needed respite from the impact and intrusion these incidents had caused prior to the original closure.”
A very important message for Ewe
